Basically:
I am 20 years old and I’m going to Porterville Community College. My major is Office Technology, though I have no idea what I want to do. I’m hoping that because the major is so broad (and really, it applies to every single job there is) I will be able to use it to my advantage. I recently got accepted into the Disney College Program for Fall 2011. I am extremely excited!
I try to be a cheerful, positive, upbeat person. I love life with all my heart. Life is too short to be difficult or dramatic. I hate fighting. I want to buy the whole world a Coca-cola. I am a christian and I take my religion very seriously. I think heavily about what I do and say beforehand. I like to think that I am an ‘adventurous’ individual (though really, I think I’m more of a ‘safe’ person, but I like to think I’m adventurous) I love traveling and seeing new places; I get much enjoyment out of people watching and learning about other cultures. I tend to be rather emotional at times, though I am also very serious if that makes any sense. I am generally a calm person; I do not get angered easily. I adore children and hopefully, God willing, I will be able to work with them someday, in one way or another. I wouldn’t classify myself as creative , though I really do love art to pieces. One of my favorite subjects is Art History, which I am rather passionate about. Any comment or e-mail I receive will be much appreciated, and assuming I have your information, I will reply back. And lastly, I really do love to write (and can be rather swell at it if I try), contrary to this horribly dull ‘about me’ section.
Some of my interests and passions:
Fresh air, holidays, getting mail, Pablo Neruda, instrumental piano music, baking, chap stick, rain, carnations, Crocs, board games (Apples to Apples, Monopoly Deal), sand between my toes, classic Disney cartoons, sweatpants, claw footed porcelain tubs, cold pillows, hot soup, writing, relaxing on the couch, the feel and smell of fresh clean linen, romantic movies, Plans, honesty, children, imagination, the sound of opening a new book, the name Emily, nostalgia, selflessness, traveling,Little Bear, books, the countryside, “forever”, satisfaction, art history, laundry hanging out to dry, ships/nautical life, peppermint mocha frappacinos, front porches, old curvy Corvettes, air conditioning, uncontrollable laughter, dreams, optimism, Little Women, the color pink, stationery, being squeaky clean, morals and values, Marie Antoinette, live plays/theatre, chaise lounges, loved ones, candlesticks, being prepared, homemade food, French Country style, picture albums, bouquets of flowers, unwrapping presents, Disneyland, family traditions, cherry trees, dreams, good music, independence, thrift stores, western movies, parties, pirates/privateers, Coca-Cola, Real Simple magazine, beautiful song lyrics, being healthy, forgiveness, and of course; Tomatoes.
